A mourning ceremony for Imam Hussein (a.s.) was held in the month of Muharram 1443 AH (2021) in the Islamic Cultural Center of Jakarta, Indonesia. Dr. Sayed Omar Shahab, a member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, spoke at the ceremony, and the lament was recited for Imam Hussein (a.s.).

In a statement, the Ashura International Foundation called on Pakistani and Nigerian authorities to arrest the perpetrators of these crimes and punish them severely. The foundation also called on the authorities of the two countries to protect mosques, Takayas and mourning groups during the days of Muharram and Safar, and by taking security measures, to prevent terrorist operations.

The conference “The Greatness of Ghadir and Ashura” was held in Islamabad, with the presence of Allameh Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri and dozens of Pakistani missionaries and clerics. In the conference, the video message of Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, was displayed.

Hojat al-Islam Sayed Issa Hosseini Mazari, member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly from Afghanistan, and head of the Tebyan Center for Social and Cultural Activities in Afghanistan, met Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the Assembly. Hojat al-Islam Mohammad Javad Zarean, deputy for International Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, was also present at the meeting.
