Iranian ambassador to Iraq expressed his gratitude to the government and people of the country

During his visit to Samarra, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran met with the officials of the city, and on behalf of the government and people of Iran expressed his appreciation and gratitude for good cooperation and hospitality of the Iraqi people and authorities during the Arbaeen ceremony.

On September 19, 2022, during his visit to Samarra, Mohammad Al-e Sadeq, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran met with the local officials and military and security commanders of the city, who were directly involved with holding Arbaeen ceremony, and on behalf of the government and people of Iran expressed his appreciation and gratitude for good cooperation and hospitality of the Iraqi people and authorities during the ceremony.

During this trip, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic met and talked with the officials of the holy shrine of two Askari Imams (a.s.), the Samarra operation command, and the governor of the city.

In this visit, on behalf of the government and people of Iran, he expressed his appreciation and gratitude for good cooperation and hospitality of the people and authorities of Samarra during the Arbaeen ceremony.

Also, during a short stop at checkpoints belonging to Saraya al-Salam forces, who are directly responsible for maintaining the security of the city and pilgrims, Al-e Sadeq praised that organization.

On Saturday evening, September 17, at the same time as the end of the Arbaeen ceremony of Imam Hussain (a.s.) the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iraq also expressed its gratitude and appreciation to the Iraqi government and nation, as well as all Iranian pilgrims.
