    The representative of the Supreme Leader in Yazd Province and the Friday Prayer Leader of city of Yazd, Ayatollah Muhammad Reza Naseri, accepted the representatives of the “International Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), the Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h).


    On Saturday evening January 23, 2021, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Yazd Province and the Friday Prayer Leader of city of Yazd, Ayatollah Muhammad Reza Naseri, accepted the member of the Academic Committee of the “International Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), the Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)” Hujat al-Islam Zare Khourmizi and Hujat al-Islam Arezumandi. In the meeting, briefing a report on the process of academic and executive affairs of the conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), they discussed the holding of the academic pre-conference of this conference in Yazd province.


    Praising the holding of such conferences, Ayatollah Naseri called Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) and Hazrat Khadijeh (a.s.) two oppressed figures at the advent of Islam.


    “For this issue, more Sunni sources and works should be used.” He said, emphasizing the use of strong documents and works in defense of this great and influential figure in the history of Islam.


    The representative of the Supreme Leader in Yazd province, Ayatollah Naseri, also announced his readiness to support the holding of the conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.).
            

     
     

    It should be mentioned that by the initiation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and support and cooperation of the similar institutions, including, “Imam Hossein (a.s.) Holy Shrine”, “Hazrat Aboutaleb Research and Publishing Institute”, “The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought”, “Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy of Islamic Propagation Office”, “Al-Mustafa International University”, “Hawza Language teaching center”, “International University of AhlulBayt (a.s.)”, “Mirath-e Nabowat Cultural Institute”, “Jamiat al-Zahra Seminary University”, “Zorria al-Nabawia Research Center”, “Qasem ibn al-Hassan (a.s.) Religious-Cultural Institute”, and “Abna al-Rasoul Cultural and Artistic Institute”; international conference “Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)” will be held.


    The deadline for submitting academic works and articles to this conference has been extended until February 18, 2021.

    ABWA message of condolences on demise of a Burundian Shiite cleric Sheikh Ibrahim Kikomo

    In a message, AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly offered its condolences on demise of the previous chairman of the Ithna-Ashar Shiite Ulema Assembly of Burundi (a Twelver Shiite Institute), Hujat al-Islam Sheikh Kikomo.


    The message of condolences is as follows:


    In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful


    “Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return” (Holy Quran 2:156)


    The demise of Hujat al-Islam Sheikh Ibrahim Kikomo, one of the scholars of the of Burundi, caused grief and sorrow.


    The deceased was one of the founders of the “Ithna-Ashar Shiite Ulema Institute” and one of the pioneers in publishing the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.), who spent his blessed life preaching and teaching in different parts of the country and was a preacher of the Islam and the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.).


    The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly express its condolences to his honorable family and all his friends, and acquaintances, and prays to God for his exaltation in heaven and patience for his family.

    The late Sheikh Ibrahim Kikomo was born in 1964 in the city of Rumge in Burundi in East Africa.


    He completed his primary and high school in his hometown, and after receiving high school diploma at the “Madresa al-Thiqafa al-Islamia” (Islamic Cultural School), he began to study religious knowledge. After completing this course, he emigrated to Sudan and studied at higher levels.


    After returning home from Sudan, due to his studies, he became interested in the school of AhlulBayt (a.s.), and became Shiite. This incident 1990 changed his destiny.


    Engaged in propagating the teachings of the Quran and AhlulBayt in his country, he and his friends founded the “Ithna Ashar (Twelver) Shiite institute” in 1990 and chaired as the deputy chairman of the institute.


    In 2004, the late Hujat al-Islam Ibrahim Kikomo was elected as the chairman of the “Ithna-Ashar (Twelver) Shiite Ulema Assembly of Burundi” and also the “AhlulBayt (a.s.) Institute” of the country.


    He continued his efforts for many years until, in 2019, he was unfortunately infected with hepatitis C.

    Senior Burundian Shiite cleric passes away

    Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Ibrahim Kikomo, one of the Shiite clerics active in Burundi, passed away.


    The late Sheikh Ibrahim Kikomo was born in 1964 in the city of Rumge in Burundi in East Africa.


    He completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown, and after receiving his diploma at the Islamic Cultural School, he began to study religious sciences. After completing this course, he emigrated to Sudan and studied at higher levels.


    After returning from Sudan, he became interested to the religion of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) due to his studies and became a Shiite. This happened in 1990 and changed his destiny.


    He was engaged in promoting the teachings of the Qur'an and Atrat in his country and established "Isna-Ashar Shiite Institute" with the help of his friends in 1999 and became the vice president of the institute.


    Sheikh Ibrahim Kikomo was elected chairman of the Isna-Ashar Shiite Ulema Assembly and the AhluBayt (a.s.) Institute in 2004.


    These activities continued for many years and unfortunately he infected with hepatitis C in 2019.


    Sheikh Ibrahim Kikomo passed away on January 13, 2021 at the age of 57./cp/

    On Saturday, January 23, 2020, the President of the Pasteur Institute of Iran, Dr. Alireza Bigleri, met the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Ayatollah Reza Ramezani, in the building of the Assembly.


    The head of the International Charity Foundation of Muslim Physicians (ICFMP), Dr. “Mohsen Niknam” was also present at the meeting.


    In the meeting with the President of the Pasteur Institute, the Secretary General of the World Assembly, Ayatollah Ramazani considered the orders of the Supreme Leader of the Iran to ban the import of the Corona vaccine from UK and US as totally wise.


    “After his orders, we saw that in social media and internet, the enemies reacted to this issue and became angry.” He added.


    “We need to appreciate our country’s scientists for making the Iranian corona vaccine.” He concluded.
