“The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is sure that the country’s security and law enforcement bodies will punish the cruel and blasphemer commanders, those involved, and perpetrators of this terrorist incident as soon as possible.”

ABWA Official Website – Following the repetition of the terrorist attack in the Holy Shrine of Ahmad bin Musa al-Kazem (Shah Cheragh), the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly issued a statement and a condolence message.

The statement and a condolence message are as follows:

In the Name of Allah, the Crusher of the disobedient, the Destroyer of the oppressors

“Indeed, we belong to Allah, and to Him do we indeed return” (Holy Quran 2:156)

In the last days of the month of Marham, and during the days of mourning and sadness of the AhlulBayt (a.s.), the enthusiasts and followers of the Infallible Imams (a.s.) in Islamic Iran were mourning the sufferings of the Ashura Caravan (family of Imam Hussain (a.s.) who were captured as prisoners of war and exiled to the Levant to Yazid court), and gradually prepared themselves to attend the World Congress and International Walk on Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), once again, the cowardly desecration and terrorist attack on the Holy Shrine of Shah Cheragh (a.s.) in Shiraz caused great sorrow and sadness, and tragic martyrdom of the pilgrim and servant of that shrine, and the injury of the pilgrims and enthusiasts of the third shrine of AhlulBayt (a.s.) in Iran, caused multiple distress to all compatriots in Islamic Iran and our enthusiasts abroad.

Definitely, such indiscriminate, but brutal terrorist attacks are a sign of the frustration of the enemies of Islam to advance their sinister slogans and plots, as well as their deep resentment of the effects and fruits of the blessed system of the Islamic Republic of Iran in every part of the world, and this will surely increase the insight of members of the community of believers and Iranians in protection and security from Islam and the Revolution. Because “we are the nation of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and the nation of martyrdom, and our dignity is martyrdom.”

While offering condolences for this bitter and regrettable incident to Imam Mahdi (a.s.), and the Supreme Leader of the Revolution (may God protect him), as well as to all the honorable people of Iran and the respected affiliates of the AhlulBayt World Assembly in the world, the Assembly is sure that the country’s security and law enforcement bodies will punish the cruel and blasphemer commanders, those involved, and perpetrators of this terrorist incident as soon as possible and they will do their best to prevent the recurrence of such tragedies and manage similar crises in the future.”
