Ceremony held to honor journalists of AhlulBayt News Agency – ABNA
At the beginning of the ceremony, Ayatollah Ramazani visited the new editorial office of International AhlulBayt (a.s.) News Agency - ABNA - and while talking with reporters and members of the News Agency, he was closely informed about the procedure of activities.
ABWA Official Website – On Wednesday, August 16, 2023, a ceremony was held to honor the journalists and staff of International AhlulBayt (a.s.) News Agency - ABNA - with the participation of the Secretary-General and officials of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
In this ceremony, while congratulating the Journalist’s Day and appreciating the staff of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) News Agency - ABNA, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, stated, “Managing an organization is a crucial task, and I would like to thank the management board and staff of ABNA for organizing the news agency. In addition to strengthening in terms of content, the different languages available in the News Agency should be more active than what they are now.”
“Journalism is a type of narration,” Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, “When the task of conveying the message is carried out, we remember Lady Zaynab (a.s.). This lady’s conduct is a clear example of media ethics. Lady Zaynab (a.s.) narrated the event of Ashura in the most beautiful way, and she could depict how and why the incident of Karbala happened.”
“AhlulBayt News Agency has been promoted; however, it should take greater steps. Such steps require great insight. Today, a good platform has been provided for activities in ABNA News Agency in terms of facilities,” stated the professor of the higher levels of the seminary, considering the AhlulBayt (a.s.) News Agency - ABNA - to be on the path of transformation.
While stressing the importance of manifestation and narration of news and content related to Shia and AhlulBayt (a.s.) in the News Agency, he emphasized, “ABNA News Agency should plan to work on issues such as the lifestyle of Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) and introduce Shiite figures and institutions in the world.”
While referring to the arrival of Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), Ayatollah Ramazani said, “ABNA News Agency can shine in Arbaeen, and prepare various programs for this important occasion. Ziyarat Arbaeen is a great event that we have not yet been able to analyze well. The free people of the world, Shiites and Muslims, attend the Arbaeen pilgrimage, and we must do appropriate activities to narrate this great event.”
