Freedom in the West is associated with promiscuity and moral liberalism: Ayatollah Ramazani
The Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Islam should be introduced away from going to extremes, along with moderation, rationality, knowledge, and spirituality. Freedom in the West is associated with promiscuity and moral liberalism, and Islam is opposed to this kind of freedom.”
ABWA Official Website – On Thursday evening, December 14, 2023, during the mourning ceremony on the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatimah (a.s.) in Fatemiah Mosque in Rasht, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani said, “Mourning ceremonies on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Lady Zahra (a.s.) in the province should be held with more attention. Today, getting to know the Fatemi school is one of the priorities of Islamic society.”
“Women’s activity at home is a great responsibility for them, and the proper upbringing of society in the home environment is entrusted to women,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“Today, in some families, despite the most and the best facilities, children do not benefit from proper upbringing. Lady Zahra (a.s.) raised her children in the best way with the least material means,” he mentioned.
“With false consumerism, and its institutionalization and acceptance as a principle, the ground for corruption in society will be provided. Islamic governments should provide a way for young people to marry and live together,” Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized.
“Raising the marriage age increases corruption and promiscuity in society, and the government should do better activities regarding the easy marriage of young people,” he added.
Referring to the 300 Quranic verses about women, such as Surah Kauthar, Surah Nisa, etc., the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts noted, “Lady Zahra (a.s.) played a role as a nurse for her father, the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) in various wars.”
“The position of women in Islam is mentioned as high, and Islam defends the rights of women in the best and strongest way,” he continued.
“Islam should be introduced away from going to extremes, along with moderation, rationality, knowledge, and spirituality. Freedom in the West is associated with promiscuity and moral liberalism, and Islam is opposed to this kind of freedom. The future of humanity will be in the hands of those who can introduce this idea to the international community,” stated the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“In the Quran, two principles of faith and righteous action are mentioned for human development. Faith without good deeds and good deeds without faith are not accepted by God,” he added.
“In the discussion about positions, the Holy Quran and hadiths do not make any difference between men and women in terms of understanding the true meaning and faith, and from the perspective of the Quran, women are of great importance,” Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized.
Referring to the West’s view of women throughout history, he stated, “Until the last century, many crimes were committed against women in the West, and today, feminism and the advertising companies of the world use women as tools in a different way.”
“Loyalty is the pillar that can strengthen the foundation of the family. Men and women complement each other and reach perfection together,” noted the representative of the people of Gilan in the assembly of leadership experts.
“A life in accordance with the position of man is based on faith, reasoning, and thought, and it does not mean promiscuity. All divine prophets have come to liberate mankind,” he added.
“The school of Lady Fatimah Zahra (a.s.) can introduce the truth of life and freedom to us. Freedom means not being bound by lust and only worshiping the truth,” Ayatollah Ramazani clarified.
“Today, women must get their rights. In the eyes of Islam, a woman is a trainer and teacher and not a vulgar person,” he continued.
“In the eyes of Islam, life means intellectuality, growth, and excellence. Freedom in the West is associated with promiscuity and moral liberalism, and Islam is opposed to this type of freedom. The freedom that brings a person to the service of God and frees him from the service of other than God is accepted by Islam,” stated the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“Unregulated communication between non-mahram women and men (strangers) will lead to negative moral effects,” he said at the end of his speech.
