The Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Today, in order to institutionalize some ideas, it is necessary to have intellectual discussions. For its deviant thoughts, the West writes books, articles, and novels. While we have had less intellectual and psychological discussions in promoting our teachings.”

ABWA Official Website – On Saturday, September 2, 2023, Hojat al-Islam Mohammad Reza Zibainejad, head of the Research Center for Women and Family, met with Ayatollah Reza Ramezani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom.

In this meeting, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “Today, for globalization and management the Western world proposes a broader concept of family. From their point of view, two people who live under the same roof are family, whether they are of different gender or not. With the conceptual change plan of the family, they accuse anyone who is against homosexuality of disturbing minds!”

Pointing out that facing Muslims with similar problems in the West leads to convergence in their community, he added, “For the greater unity of women, we established the Union of Muslim Women of Europe, which is made up of educated women.”

“Holding the international conference “The Resilient Family and the Challenges of the Changing World” is a necessary and fundamental action in today’s world,” Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly continued, “Today, in order to institutionalize some ideas, it is necessary to have intellectual discussions. For its deviant thoughts, the West writes books, articles, and novels. While we have had less intellectual and psychological discussions in promoting our teachings.”

“In order to hold this international conference, I suggest that you hold meetings with the officials of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought because this discussion is multi-religious (not limited to Islam), and other religions can be involved in this issue, and have dialogues with them,” he added.

The ways of cooperation of different parts of the Assembly in holding the international conference “The Resilient Family and the Challenges of the Changing World” are the Department for Women Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and dialogue with women intellectuals in the international arena, WikiShia, and using the capacity of writing entries in this virtual encyclopedia, ABNA International News Agency and creating the news line, communication with professors and students of AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University, using indigenous missionaries, and communication with the General Directorate of Education and Cyberspace,” added Ayatollah Ramazani.

It is worth mentioning that at the beginning of this meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Zibainejad gave explanations about the challenges faced by Muslims and Shiites in the field of family and invited the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly to cooperate in holding the international conference “The Resilient Family and the Challenges of the Changing World.”
