Women are oppressed in the world: Ayatollah Ramazani
Emphasizing the role of Muslim women in society, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Women are oppressed in the world. It is possible to react to these adversities, and establishing social organizations helps this process.”
ABWA Official Website – Ayatollah Ramezani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, who has traveled to Africa to participate in the celebrations of the birth anniversaries of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) and Imam Sadiq (a.s.), participated in the gathering of some active Muslim women in Nairobi, Kenyan capital.
In this session, while pointing to the special role of women in raising the generation, he expressed, “Islam does not argue that women should only stay at home. Although housekeeping [of housewives] also has its special position.”
Emphasizing the role of Muslim women in society, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Women are oppressed in the world. It is possible to react to these adversities, and establishing social organizations helps this process.”
Emphasizing the need to improve the knowledge level of Muslim women, he said, “You need to have an educational and promotional role in your community, increase your studies, and be aware of your role.”
