In the month of Safar 1444 (September 2022), the people of Alwan Abdul Khan city, the center of Karkheh County, 70 kilometers from the Chazabeh border terminal, welcome the pilgrims of Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and serve them in their homes, as well as in the Mowkebs they have set up. in addition to offering the pilgrims in three meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner, water and tea, in these Mowkebs, the congregational prayers, mourning ceremonies and enlightening speeches are held. The Mowkebs of Abdul Khan’s people are held every year from 10 days before Arbaeen to three days after the event.
