Abu Talib (a.s.), believer, passed away with righteous deeds: Taeb

The opening ceremony of the International Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), the Supporter of the Prophet (p.b.u.h), started, Tuesday morning, March 9, 2021, in the Quds Hall of Imam Khomeini Complex in Qom.

“The conference of Abu Talib is held so that we can learn from the way, method and expression of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) and understand what is our duty based on our potential,” stated Hojat al-Islam “Mahdi Taeb”, the chairman of the Council of Ammar Strategic Headquarters.

“Before the Be’that of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h), Abu Talib was a believer in the Tawhidi (monotheistic) religion of Prophet Abraham and separated himself from the idolaters and was a Mowahed (monotheist),” he stated on Abu Talib’s belief, saying that Abu Talib (a.s.) dedicated his life to the Prophet (p.b.u.h).

“Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) did not stop defending and supporting the Prophet even for a moment. This is the case of the consensus of Islamic scholars and historians that he did not fail to support the Prophet (p.b.u.h) in any way. When Hazrat Khadijeh married the Prophet (p.b.u.h), Abu Talib said that the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) is unique in the world,” added the expert in religious issues.

“Abu Talib was willing to sacrifice his life for the Prophet. In this way, he risked his life and everyone says that Abu Talib and Khadijeh were killed by She’b (Valley of Abi Talib during the boycott of Quraysh against Bani Hashem) and that year was called the Aam al-Hozn (Year of Sorrow). Abu Talib (a.s.) could not have supported the Prophet (p.b.u.h) if he had made his faith public. Therefore, it is mentioned in history that Hamza was forced to go to Medina from Mecca due to the publicity of his faith,” he reminded.

“Abu Talib supported the Prophet (p.b.u.h) because of his great faith. Throughout history, Muslims have all loved Abu Talib. Abu Talib’s tomb was destroyed by the Wahhabis, but Mecca was always in the hands of the Sunni brothers. The Sunnis came for pilgrimage, and if Abu Talib (a.s.) was a Mushrik (polytheist), his love would not have existed in the hearts of Muslims. The fact that his tomb is visited shows that God has placed the love of Abu Talib in the hearts of Muslims,” he said.

“The generation of Abu Talib and Sadat is known and all Sadat are from the generation of Abu Talib. All Sadat are Muslims and we do not have Kafer (infidel) Sayed. Therefore, Abu Talib has remained with his generation. Abu Talib was a believer and had virtues,” said Taeb about the generation of Hazrat Abu Talib.

“Abu Talib accepted anonymity and was the anonymous commander of the Prophet (p.b.u.h). Because as long as he was alive, he was in charge of countering the invasions against the Prophet (p.b.u.h). He accepted anonymity, hid his faith and did his duty, and therefore remained in history,” he added.

“In the “Resistance” issue we must do our duty and we must not care what others say. Also, we should not be afraid of our few in the way of God. Abu Talib did his duty,” added the expert in religious issues.

“The Supreme Leader of the of Iran, who is accepted by the world, is from the generation of Abu Talib. In the Islamic world, those Sunni scholars who are Sadat are all from the generation of Abu Talib (a.s.). God has preserved Abu Talib and he has a blessed generation,” he concluded in the end.
