Commemoration ceremony for Jalaluddin Rakhmat to be held on Tuesday (+Poster)

A virtual commemoration ceremony will be held on the occasion of the seventh day of the demise of the grand scholar of the Islamic world and senior Shiite scholar, the late Professor Jalaluddin Rakhmat, the president of the Indonesian Ahlul Bayt (AS) Association (IJABI).

A virtual commemoration ceremony will be held on the occasion of the seventh day of the demise of the grand scholar of the Islamic world and senior Shiite scholar, the late Professor Jalaluddin Rakhmat, the president of the Indonesian Ahlul Bayt (AS) Association (IJABI).


The virtual ceremony, which will be organized by the the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, will feature lectures in Persian, Indonesian and English and will be broadcast live.


Hujjat al-Islam Muhammad Javad Zarean, deputy of International Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Hujjat al-Islam "Abdul Majid Hakim Elahi", the representative of the Supreme Leader in Indonesia and Hujjat al-Islam "Sayyed Mofid Husseini Kouhsari", head of Hawzeh International Affairs will delivered speech at the ceremony.


Also, Dr. Sayyed Omar Shahab, Chairman of the Council of the AhluBayt (a.s.) Organization of Indonesia (ABI), and Mr. KH. Muftah Fouzi Rakhmat, son of the late Jalaluddin Rakhmat, are Indonesian personalities who will speak at the ceremony.


Hujjat al-Islam "Hussein Bahrami", one of the most active cleric in Southeast Asian studies, will be the secretary of the ceremony and "Ali Alizadeh", an international Quran reciter, recited verses from Holy Qura at the begining the ceremony.


The virtual ceremony will start at 16:30 on Tuesday, February 23, 2021.
