ABWA Official Website – The closing ceremony of the international conference “Committed Art in Support of the Holy al-Quds”, as well as the closing and award-giving ceremony of the “3rd International Cartoon Festival of Al-Quds Day” was held on Monday, February 20, 2023, at Azadi Tower Conference Hall by the Committee for the Support of the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian People affiliated with the Presidential Administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The winners of the “3^rd International Cartoon Festival of Al-Quds Day” were announced by the jury of the festival, and they were honored and praised at a conference at the Azadi Tower Conference Hall.

The Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Islamic Iran, as the motherland of the Islamic world, considers it its duty to defend the oppressed Palestinian nation. We, in turn, have a duty to defend Palestine as a symbol of resistance and reflect oppression to the world through art.”

Ibrahim Al-Deilami, Yemen’s ambassador to Iran, while describing the Palestinian Cause as the concern of the noble people, emphasized that superficial artists do not deserve to deal with it.

While emphasizing the effectiveness of the language of art in the fight against the Zionist regime, Nasser Abu Sharif, the representative of the Islamic Jihad movement, announced the victory of the Palestinian nation in the unequal media battle against Israel.

Emphasizing that it is essential to mobilize all the capacities of the Islamic Ummah, including art, against the enemy, Sheikh Isa Qassim, the spiritual leader of the Bahraini Revolution said, “Iran’s support to liberation movements is due to the guidance of the Vali Faqih.”

On the occasion of the Eid Maba’ath of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), the webinar “Islam, Messenger of Peace and Friendship” was held by the General Directorate of Virtual Space of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Spanish.
