In this meeting, while pointing out the necessity of holding the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition, Dr. Hassan Abdipour, deputy for international affairs of the “Al-Bayan Institute” stated, “We need such exhibitions where institutions and centers active in the international arena, by attending them, can learn about each other’s activities. The convergence of these centers leads to a stronger presence in the international arena. Organizations such as the AhlulBayt (a.s.) “Thanks to the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Shiite school has found a new face in the world,” he added, “After the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the Westerners defined large projects with billions of costs to study Shia according to their own methodology. Arbaeen pilgrimage created a new culture that was unprecedented.”

“To achieve modernism, the West abandoned religion. But we seek to create a new discourse against modernism. We need to rebuild humanities and Islamic sciences, and we cannot stay in the past. The person presents in the scene who faces waves of questions must have historical background and support,” expressed the deputy for international affairs of the “Al-Bayan Institute”.

Referring to the activities of “Al-Bayan Institute”, Abdipour added, “In this institute, a large project has been defined for the academic introduction of the Shiite school, in which the materials are compiled by the most excellent seminary and university authors. Also, the encyclopedia will be translated into different languages. Seminary and university centers, with the hardware they have, should address the needs.”

“We need to get to know the AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings and publish them. “Encyclopedia of Shiite Knowledge” is compiled in 30 volumes based on the Quran and the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school,” he said in the end.

It should be mentioned that on the establishment anniversary of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the exhibition of the achievements of institutions and organizations active in the international propagation of Islam, entitled “Lights of Guidance” is being held from Saturday, December 31, 2022, until January Thursday 5, 2023, in the conference hall of the Islamic Propagation Office of the Seminary.
