Virtual commemoration ceremony for late Pishvaee to be held + poster

A virtual commemoration ceremony will be held for the late Pishvaee, one of the pioneers of historical studies and biography of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) in contemporary Islamic seminaries.

A commemoration ceremony will be held virtually for the divine scholar and honorable and pious professor, the late Hojat al-Islam Haj Sheikh Mahdi Pishvaee, with speeches by scholars and professors of the Islamic seminary.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on Monday, August 23, 2021, from 17:30 to 19:30, with free internet traffic on Abarat (عبرات) Internet TV.

Professor Pishvaee was one of the pioneers of historical studies and biography of the AhlulBayt (a.s.).

The ceremony will be held by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Arbaeen Cultural Headquarters, World Assembly of Shiite Studies, Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy, Center for Islamic Seminary Management, and Association of Seminary Historians.

It should be mentioned that Hojat al-Islam Mahdi Pishvaee, one of the prominent professors of the seminary of Qom, passed away on August 14, 2021. Many books on religious issues, the history of Islam, and the life of the Infallible Imams (a.s.) have been published by this researcher and professor of the seminary of Qom, who was born in 1942.

Among the famous and important books of Professor Pishvaee, are “Sire-ye Pishvayan” (The Life of Leaders) which is the textbook of Islamic seminaries, and “History of Islam (from Jahiliyyah to the demise of the Prophet of Islam)” which is the textbook of universities. He was one of the professors of Imam Sadegh (a.s.) Research and Training Institute and the director of the history department of Imam Khomeini Education and Research Institute.
