Demise of Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) greatest loss for human societies: Ayatollah Ramazani

On Monday evening, October 4, 2021, in the mourning ceremony for the demise of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) and the martyrdom of Imam Hassan (a.s.), in the square Martyrs of Zahab in Rasht, stating that we need a system to achieve justice in all aspects, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani Stated, “If society achieves justice, it has achieved its goal.”

“If the government does not function properly, maybe everyone will achieve individual justice in their own right. But this is not enough,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, “True justice is possible only through government.”

“Expressing justice just with words is far from its external manifestation. We are very far from the teachings of the prophets and saints,” he clarified, stating that all divine prophets were sent to bring about justice and morality in society.

“Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) was both the last prophet of God and the owner of the Sharia,” he said, considering the demise of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) as the greatest loss for humanity.

“We have to deepen our understanding in different parts of religion,” stated the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts, “Most people in the field of religious issues interpret religion based on their point of view and not on what is stated in the Quran, hadiths, and words of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h). A human opinion should not be imposed on revelation.”

“In the social sphere, the teachings are divided into three sections: Ahkam, rights, and ethics,” he added, “The Ahkam includes individual and social spheres, and the rights include citizenship, family, and so on.”

“Islam carefully introduced the rights, and if its commands are obeyed, no one can oppress another,” Ayatollah Ramazani pointed out.

“Most of our problems are due to the fact that we either do not know the rights of others or if we do, we do not fulfill them,” the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “A society in which individuals do not recognize each other’s rights in the social sphere does not grow.”

“In the Islamic system, the right to citizenship of a non-Muslim must also be respected, and one should not be forced to convert to Islam,” he said, referring to the need to respect the rights of citizens, regardless of their religion.

“Of course, if someone converts to Islam, and accepts it, he or she must also accept its rules and regulations and observe the obligations,” continued Ayatollah Ramazani.

“Ethics is the main factor in the growth of society,” the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts said, “The issue of individual rights has also been raised to prevent the violation of people’s rights. The Holy Quran also emphasizes both ethical and rights issues.”

“Part of what women do at home is not their job, but it is based on a moral interaction,” he added, “And these are the things that make the family strong and stable.”

“One of the rules that the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) emphasized is ethics, and all the divine prophets have been sent to perfect this important matter,” said Ayatollah Ramazani, emphasizing the observance of moral rules and relations in society and the family.

“All the divine prophets worked in the field of morality,” the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The second recommendation in the statement of the second phase of the revolution issued by the Supreme Leader, also refers to ethics and spirituality, which is effective in the growth of individuals and families, elders and youngsters.”

“If human beings adhere to moral rules and society is morally oriented, we will certainly not have oppression, betrayal, jealousy, and irresponsibility,” he stated.

“In the twentieth century, 100 million people were killed in the world, and today people are being killed everywhere under various pretexts,” Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized, “Lack of spirituality has crippled society.”

“Considering morality and spirituality is more important today than ever before,” the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts pointed out, “The source of any dispute is immorality, and the observance of legal rules is not enough.”

“Society is perfected if morality is observed, and individuals respect each other’s rights,” he added, “If in a society, people do not respect each other’s rights, all areas of that society will be violated, and there will be disrespect and rudeness.”

“A worshiper who swears, slanders, and lies has not been affected by praying,” he said, emphasizing the importance of good morals and socializing, and considering morality as a criterion for measuring people’s thoughts, ideas, and behavior.

“Morality is based on piety,” the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Piety is manifested in behavior, deeds, looking, eating, drinking, haram and halal, and the type of communication of individuals.”

“Imam Hussain (a.s.) worked hard to awaken human beings. But one who pretends to be asleep cannot be awakened, and this can stop human beings from progressing,” he concluded.
