ABWA Official Website - In a message, the family of the late Ayatollah Vahedi Jahromi expressed gratitude to the Supreme Leader, sources of emulation and the people of Iran, Syria and Iraq, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, real and legal personalities, and scientific and religious institutions for their sympathy with this family.

The message is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

“Those who have believed and migrated, and waged jihad in the way of Allah with their possessions and persons have a greater rank near Allah, and it is they who are the triumphant.” (Quran, 9:20)

We are mourning the loss of a wise scholar and Mujahid immigrant, whose grief is understood more by the Levant and Lebanese Shiites than us.

Mujahid Allameh, Grand Ayatollah Sayed Ahmad Vahedi (r.a.), who left the comfort of his country fifty years ago, and migrated from Qom to the Levant, where he raised the flag of AhlulBayt (a.s.), for about half a century, he promoted the Shiite school and became a father to the minority Shiites in the Umayyad land, and established the pillars of the Jafari school of belief. Finally, after a lifetime of jihad and ijtihad near the shrine of her great aunt, Lady Zaynab (a.s.) returned to the land of the AhlulBayt, holy Qom, and was buried in the shrine of her little aunt, Lady Masoumeh (a.s.).

Hereby, we express our gratitude and humble thanks to the Supreme Leader, grand sources of emulation, ulama and Friday Imams, the honorable president of Iran, the head of Qom seminary, seminaries in Iran, Iraq and Syria, Custodian of the Holy Shrine of the Lady Fatimah Masoumeh (a.s.), ministers and members of the government, members of Iran’s parliament, judges and employees of the judiciary, governmental and military organizations and institutions, commanders, clerics, members of the Army of Islamic Republic of Iran, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Universities and Al-Mustafa (p.b.u.h) International University, non-governmental institutions and organizations, friends and acquaintances, as well as all those who participated in the funeral and burial of the blessed deceased, either by holding a memorial ceremony on their behalf, or attending the commemoration ceremony in Qom, Tehran, Shiraz, Jahrom and Damascus, or who consoled the bereaved family by sending messages of condolence and sympathy, and we ask the Almighty God to give them long life and a good futurity.

O Allah, hasten the Reappearance of your friend, and make us among his best helpers, and make us among those who become martyrs for him.
