Ayatollah Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Africa has an intact capacity in various sectors. In my opinion, there is a rare readiness to listen to the pure AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings in Africa, which is a clear example of the words of Imam Reza (a.s.) as said, “If people know the merits and beauties of our speech, they will follow us”.”

With the help of donors and the management of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, a water well was dug in the Muslim-majority region Kigamboni in southern Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The director general of the office of the Arab African countries of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly presented a report on the October visit of Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, the General Secretary of the Assembly, and his accompanying delegation to three African countries, and attendance at five regional Shiite conferences.

A meeting was held in the conference hall of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom on the recent visit of the Secretary General of the Assembly and his accompanying delegation to the East African region.

In a meeting titled “Women Followers of AhlulBayt (a.s.)” held in Tanzania, Ayatollah Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly gave a speech about the individual and social position of women from an Islamic point of view.

Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “The enemies of Islam could not destroy the religion, but they limited it. Limiting religion was done by Westerners. They could not fight against religion, but they forged and made fake spiritualities.”

Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “One of the aspects of the comprehensiveness of Islam is that the AhlulBayt (a.s.) invite us both to solitude and to be present in society. It means that we should have tahajjud and night prayer and participate in society. Also, it should be noted that responsibility does not have only individual aspects, but individual aspects along with social ones.”

Referring to the importance of the position of women from the Islamic point of view, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “There are about 300 Quranic verses about women. One of the surahs of the Holy Quran is named after one of the purest women, Lady Maryam (a.s.). Also, there is a surah in the Quran called “Women”.”
