According to an old tradition, on the anniversary of the passing away of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), the people of Iraq go to Najaf to express their condolences to Imam Ali (a.s.), the successor and son-in-law of the Prophet.

The 6^th International Arbaeen Pilgrimage Scientific Seminar was started by the Karbala Center for Studies and Research in cooperation with Iraqi institutions and universities.

On the day of Arbaeen, the shrine of Imam Hussain (a.s.) in Karbala is the meeting place of millions of the enthusiasts of that Imam who have come to this area from different parts of the world. The “Arbaeen Love Journey Group”, including more than 30 Indonesian pilgrims, traveled to the holy and historical places of Iran before traveling to Iraq to participate in the Arbaeen Great Walk. They visited the shrine of Imam Reza (a.s.), the shrine of Lady Masoumeh (a.s.), Khizr Mountain and Imam Khomeini’s historical house in Qom, as well as the tomb of martyr Qassem Soleimani in Kerman.

The Center for Study and Research of Karbala announced the date of the 6^th Seminar of Arbaeen Pilgrimage.

The TV program “I’m a Muslim Child”, is held live every day in Hussainiya for children in Arbaeen pilgrimage with the main actors of the program, at the Mowkab of Fatemi Women Procession in pillar 1222.

On Sunday, September 4, 2022, the participants of the 7^th General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, went to Mashhad for pilgrimage of the Imam Reza (a.s.).

The AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of Syria sent a caravan of university professors and cultural, Quranic, and media activists, as well as the families of Syrian martyrs, to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran.
