In a message, the head of the office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Iraq expressed his condolences on the demise of Hojat al-Islam Sheikh Fuad al-Meqdadi.

In a message, Hojat al-Islam Pahlawanzadeh Behbahani, head of the office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Iraq, expressed his condolences on the demise of Hojat al-Islam Sheikh Fuad al-Meqdadi, an Iraqi member of the General Assembly of the Assembly.

The English translation of this message of condolence, which was originally issued in Arabic, is as follows:

In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of Iraq extends its condolences on the demise of Sheikh Fuad al-Meqdadi, a member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

The deceased spent his life in acquiring knowledge, jihad, fighting tyranny and seeking reform. He was very active in various religious, propagation, cultural, social and political fields.

On this occasion, I offer my condolences to all the missionary brothers and sisters, especially the missionary brothers and sisters of the Baghdad, the capital of Iraq.

I ask God to place the deceased in His paradise, and to grant his family and relatives endless patience and reward.
