AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly adopts expertism approach: Ayatollah Ramazani

By raising the question of what kind of literature can be used to promote and introduce the Ahl al-Bayt school in the world today, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Having an international approach is very important. In order to become central and authoritative in the field of enlightening and spreading the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly must move according to smart strategies based on requirements.”

On Tuesday, October 11, 2022, the introduction ceremony of the Deputy for “International Affairs” and “Development of Management and Resources” of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was held in presence of Ayatollah Reza Ramazani.

At the beginning of this ceremony, during a speech, congratulating on the occasion of Islamic Unity Week, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “As Sayed Jamal al-Din Asadabadi said, the unity of the Islamic Ummah is one of the pillars of the Muhammadan religion, and it is one of the obvious and essential things that does not require reasoning. It also does not require a teacher to teach and a book to prove.”

“If the Muslim Ummah gathered and synergize their capacities in all dimensions, including political, social, cultural and economic, today Muslims would be one of the most powerful coalitions in the world. Unfortunately, the colonialists did not allow this auspicious event to happen. That is why many Muslim countries came under the global domination system, and the West, by designing divisive plots, pit Muslims against each other, and cause the religious war between the followers of the religions. In the last few decades, Muslims have been the most victims of these conflicts,” he continued.

“I hope that the misunderstanding that has been existed between the political authorities and the ulama of Islam at various times will be resolved so that Muslims around the world can reach the truth of the unity of the Islamic Ummah, not as a tactic, but as a strategy,” said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

Further, while pointing out the activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly since its inception until now, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly of was established by the resourcefulness of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution to organize the affairs of Shiites in the world, and it has a special position. At the head of the Assembly is the Supreme Leader of the Revolution and Marjaiat. Members of the General Assembly work in more than 140 Islamic and non-Islamic countries. The members of the Supreme Council of the Assembly are made up of Shiite leaders and domestic natural and legal figures who have an international status.”

“The Assembly has an important place among cultural institutions active in the international arena. Also, the role of public diplomacy of the Assembly is very influential and important in the Islamic world,” Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized, “The Assembly prioritizes the Jihadi (volunteer) management and transformation-oriented view. When an international organization initiates to operate, there are ups and downs along the way. To identify the current situation and where we are, the damage and needs assessment were done, and this process is continuously followed.”

“Considering the series of developments that occurring in the region and the Islamic world, a more accurate and comprehensive approach should be adopted towards strategies and solutions. To achieve change, the members of the Assembly must have a change-oriented outlook. The change will not be realized without the change-oriented approach of the Assembly members,” he emphasized.

“The path of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly should be the path of expertism,” Ayatollah Ramazani added “Also, the Assembly is related to the elites, the people and all the followers and enthusiasts of AhlulBayt (a.s.) and somehow all Muslims and the Islamic world.”

Further, referring to the holding of the 7^th General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Evaluation experts in the field of holding conferences evaluated the conference of the 7^th General Assembly as good. This success was realized with the cooperation and empathy of all the departments of the Assembly. With the presence of thinkers, intellectuals and Shiite leaders, a new spirit has been breathed into the assembly.”

“Part of the changes in the Assembly is related to expertism. Based on the evaluations and studies, Dr. Abdulreza Rashed was appointed as the Deputy for “International Affairs” and Mr. Sayed Mostafa Qazavi as the Deputy for “Development of Management and Resources” of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly,” Ayatollah Ramazani added.

While referring to Dr. Rashed’s various positions in the Assembly, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly emphasized, “He worked compassionately in the department of Development of Management and Resources and did not neglect anything. He also devoted all his time to his duties. But his main expertise is in international affairs. In this period of transformation, considering the expertism and transformation-oriented outlook, as well as Mr. Rashed’s expertise and interactive view, we hope that auspicious things will happen in the international affairs.”

Then pointing out the managerial and executive records of Hojat al-Islam Qazavi, Ayatollah Ramazani noted, “He has completed seminary education and 8 years Kharij of Fiqh and Osul (higher Islamic seminary courses on jurisprudence and principles), and currently is writing a doctoral dissertation in university education. Hojat al-Islam Qazavi is familiar with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and international organizations. He also has managerial experience in administrative, financial, plan and program, and sufficient legal understanding of issues. Therefore, according to his experience, he was chosen as the Deputy for “Development of Management and Resources” of the Assembly.”

Also, while expressing his appreciation of Hojat al-Islam Moinian for his the services as the head of the Department of the International Affairs, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, “With more than 15 years of experience in the international activities, he is a capacity for the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly. With his empathy and cooperation Mr. Moinian did not spare any effort in the 7^th General Assembly, and in the future, his maximum experience will be used.”

“Cooperation and empathy are the key words of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in realizing and achieving the orders of the Supreme Leader,” said Ayatollah Ramazani in the end.

Following the ceremony, Dr. Abdulreza Rashed, the Deputy for “International Affairs” and Mr. Sayed Mostafa Qazavi, the Deputy for “Development of Management and Resources” of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly,” expressed their opinions and plans.

In the end, the appointment letters of Dr. Abdulreza Rashed was appointed as the Deputy for “International Affairs” and Mr. Sayed Mostafa Qazavi as the Deputy for “Development of Management and Resources” of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, were read as follows:

According to this decree, I appoint you, who are honored of having good record and valuable and long experiences in the international arena, as the Deputy for “International Affairs” of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

It is expected that by taking advantage of the existing capacities, investigating and identifying the potential and actual possibilities of the followers of AhlulBayt (a.s.), you will organize the affairs related to the support, empowerment and network-making of Shiites in a proper and desirable way.

Among the important strategies that should be considered are the development and strengthening of comprehensive and macro-planning in relation to local Assemblies, missionary affairs and management of these areas, efforts to improve the religious, intellectual and social status of the followers of AhlulBayt (a.s.) with a rational and spiritual approach, and promoting the culture of seeking justice.

In this regard, maximum interaction, empathy, companionship, and cooperation with other departments of the Assembly, as well as related organizations, are my earnest request, and are among necessary prerequisites for transformation, and will lead to the achievement of the goals and sacred missions of the Assembly.

Also, I consider it necessary to express my gratitude to the sincere and diligent efforts of Hojat al-Islam Moinian as the head of the international department - which was in the time of holding the 7^th General Assembly - and to emphasize the maximum use of his ability, capacity and experience in the best possible way.

I hope that you will be successful in carrying out the assigned missions by observing divine piety and adopting a jihadi (volunteer) and transformative approach and management, observing thriftiness, and using all capacities to fulfill the orders of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution.

According to this decree, I appoint you, who are honored of having good record and valuable and long experiences in the managerial fields in different levels, as the Deputy for “Development of Management and Resources” of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

Among the important points that must be considered is the organization of executive affairs, with the approach of adapting all activities to the existing rules and regulations as a platform for internal solidarity and cooperation, financial discipline and transparency, administrative accuracy, optimal productivity, and the excellence of the organization, innovatively, fast, and precisely.

Thus, it is expected that follow-up and necessary measures will be taken for the maximum use, productivity and respect of human resources, the improvement of the scientific level of the staff and the expansion of new technologies in the administrative and financial system and the use of intellectual, young, efficient and experienced forces with the maximum power.

All the deputies and officials of the affiliated centers will definitely do their best to assist you in achieving the organizational goals to elevate the status of the Assembly and the mission of serving, as you also will make great efforts to interact, empathize and synergize with other departments and organizations.

Also, I consider it necessary to express my gratitude to the diligent and compassionate efforts of Dr. Rashed as the Deputy of this department.
