WikiShia virtual encyclopedia on the path of progress: Amini
The head of WikiShia Encyclopedia stated, “In the last 15 months that I have been the head of WikiShia, according to the recommendations of Ayatollah Ramazani, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, we have preserved the past path and moved towards the improvement of the encyclopedia.”
ABWA Official Website – On Monday, May 22, 2023, at the same time as the auspicious days of the Ten Days of Dignity, the celebration of “A Decade of Activity of WikiShia Encyclopedia” was held in the prayer hall of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Qom.
In this ceremony, Mr. Ebrahim Amini, the head of WikiShia Virtual Encyclopedia, stated, “I would like to congratulate all colleagues and managers on the 10th anniversary of the establishment of WikiShia Encyclopedia. Also, I would like to express my special thanks to Hojat al-Islam Dr. Farmanian. Today, by the grace of God, with the efforts of officials and researchers, the seedling of WikiShia has turned into a stout tree.”
“During 10 years of activity, 400 researchers and translators have worked in WikiShia, and the fruit of their work has been the publication of 27 thousand articles in 22 languages of the world. Publishing this number of articles is difficult considering the requirements and limitations,” he continued.
“In the last 15 months that I have been the head of WikiShia, according to the recommendations of Ayatollah Ramazani, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, we have preserved the past path and moved towards the improvement of the encyclopedia,” stated the head of WikiShia Encyclopedia.
“Last month, we set a record by publishing 611 articles in 20 languages in the WikiShia encyclopedia,” Amini added, “We must spread the AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings in the world in all the languages.”
“I would like to express my gratitude to all parts of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, such as ABNA News Agency, as well as the administrative parts of the Assembly that cooperate with WikiShia. Each of us is part of a project moving in the same direction,” he said at the end.
