Arbaeen pilgrimage showed unity of the Iranian nation and the Iraqi nation: Rafed Al-Tamimi
Hojat al-Islam Rafed Al-Tamimi, the head of the Warith al-Anbia Institute, said, “Global Arrogance, especially in recent years, has sought to divide the Iranian and Iraqi nations. They are afraid of the Arbaeen pilgrimage. The Arbaeen pilgrimage showed that the nations of the two countries are united and efforts should be made to strengthen this unity,”
The meeting of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly with the Mawkeb owners and international activists of Arbaeen was held on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the conference hall of the Assembly in the presence of Ayatollah Ramazani, the Secretary-General.
Hojat al-Islam Rafed Al-Tamimi, the head of the Warith al-Anbia Institute, said, “The Arbaeen pilgrimage has many effects on the Iraqi and non-Iraqi political arenas. The enemies of Islam and Shia are upset by the Arbaeen pilgrimage.”
“Global Arrogance, especially in recent years, has sought to divide the Iranian and Iraqi nations. They are afraid of the Arbaeen pilgrimage. The Arbaeen pilgrimage showed that the nations of the two countries are united and efforts should be made to strengthen this unity,” he emphasized.
“The Mawkebs are the beating heart of the Arbaeen pilgrimage. We must work to strengthen the intellectual dimension of this ceremony, and in this regard, the Mawkeb owners have the authority to decide. We must put the promotion of ideas on the agenda,” added the head of Warith al-Anbia Institute.
“In addition to serving the pilgrims, Mawkeb owners should be encouraged to address cultural issues in the Mawkebs,” Al-Tamimi stated, considering the strengthening of the Arbaeen Mawkebs as a necessity.
“Workshops should be held for Mawkeb owners in various locations. It is also necessary to design a program with a framework for the intellectual development of the Mawkeb owners,” he concluded.
