Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Today, the call and name of Imam Hussain (a.s.) is resounding everywhere in the world. In Turkey, India, and Pakistan, gatherings of 50,000 to 100,000 people are held for mourning in Muharram.”

ABWA Official Website – On Tuesday, July 29, 2023, during the mourning ceremony on the seventh day of Muharram at the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah Ukhra (AS) in Rasht, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani said, “Today, everywhere in the world, the call and name of Imam Hussain (a.s.) resonates, and the flag of the Imam is raised.”

The representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts stated, “Followers of all divine religions show courtesy and respect to Imam Hussain (a.s.). With the correct introduction of the Imam, everyone will love him.”

“Imam Hussain (a.s.) is for all humanity,” he added, “In Turkey, India, and Pakistan, gatherings of 50,000 to 100,000 people are held for mourning in Muharram.”

“In India, the Hussainyahs and Imam Bare shrines have been built. In this country, when the name of AhlulBayt (a.s.) is mentioned, even some of those who do not have a good financial situation, are ready to sacrifice all their possessions,” Ayatollah Ramazani added.

“To preserve Islam and move on the right path, we must sacrifice. The Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) paid the cost of teaching “لااله‌الاالله” (there is no god but Allah) so that mankind can become familiar with monotheism, and we can have a monotheistic and responsible society,” clarified the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“Two requests are mentioned in the Ashura pilgrimage,” he said, “The phrase “اَنْ یَجْعَلَنی مَعَکُمْ فِی الدُّنْیا وَالاْخِرَةِ” refers to following the Imam, and the phrase “وَ اَن يُثَبِتَ لي عِنْدَكُمْ قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ في الدُّنيا وَالأخرةِ” refers to the steadfastness. Man should be steadfast in friendship and acceptance of guardianship of Imam.”

In another part of his speech, while referring to a hadith, the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts said, “In a hadith on the characteristics of the believers, Imam Reza (a.s.) said, “A believer is not a true believer unless he has three characteristics: a tradition from his God, a tradition from his Prophet (p.b.u.h), and a tradition from his Imam (a.s.). The characteristic of the Gpd is secrecy and to keep secrets hidden, the characteristic of the Prophet (PBUH) is to tolerate people, and the characteristic that should be learned from the Imam is to be patient in the face of adversity and hardships of life.”
