Sheik Zakaria Kunati, imam of Twelver Shiite Mosque in Abidjan stated, “The topics raised in “Lights of Guidance” exhibition are diverse and useful, and everything that is needed for spiritual life of human is displayed in this exhibition.”

ABWA Official Website – On the sidelines of the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition, ABNA reporter interviewed Sheik Zakaria Kunati, imam of Twelver Shiite Mosque of Abidjan, the biggest city of the Côte d'Ivoire, in the West of Africa.

About the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition, Kunati stated, “I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation for many books displayed, as well as various topics raised in this exhibition. Visitors can use the issues presented in the exhibition not only in the field of religion but also in various other fields. The topic presented in “Lights of Guidance” exhibition are diverse and useful, and everything that is needed for spiritual life of mankind is displayed in this exhibition.”

“Of course, there were few books translated into French in the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition. While there are many Arabic and Persian books displayed. Books in more languages are needed in the exhibition,” he continued.

“Most countries in West Africa speak French. But there are few translated books on practical jurisprudence in French. In Côte d'Ivoire we need such books, both for men and women,” said the imam of Twelver Shiite Mosque of Abidjan.

It should be mentioned that on the establishment anniversary of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the exhibition of the achievements of institutions and organizations active in the international propagation of Islam, entitled “Lights of Guidance” is being held from Saturday, December 31, 2022, until January Thursday 5, 2023, in the conference hall of the Islamic Propagation Office of the Seminary.

It is also worth noting that the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was established on December 31, 1990, with the aim of gathering Shiites, establishing relationships within the Shiite world, promoting Shiites seminaries, solving the problems of Shiites with other Islamic Denominations, and benefiting from real and legal capabilities of Shiites.

The Assembly was established by the order of Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, on December 25, 1990, with the aim of introducing the revolutionary foundations, and thought of the Islamic system of Iran to Shiites all over the world. /345/
