Selected works for final stage of “3rd Intl. Cartoon Festival of Quds Day” introduced

Closing and awarding ceremony of the 3rd International Cartoon Festival of Quds Day will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, on the 44th anniversary of the closure of the Zionist embassy in Tehran by order of Imam Khomeini.

ABWA Official Website – The secretariat of “3rd International Cartoon Festival of Quds Day” introduced the works that reached the judging stage of this festival.

According to this announcement, the selection board of the festival considered 326 works and cartoons out of the 544 works submitted to the festival secretariat as having the necessary conditions for the second stage.

The gallery of these works is now available on the “Iran Cartoon” website for the visitors.

Also, artists who object to the duplication or inauthenticity of works can send their documents to the festival’s email address (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) by Monday, January 30, 2023.

It is worth noting that the “3rd International Cartoon Festival of Quds Day”, in three topics, was called last Ramadan by the “Committee for the Support of the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian People”, affiliated to the Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in cooperation with various cultural and media institutions from Iran, Bahrain and Iraq.

It is also worth mentioning that the “3rd International Cartoon Festival of Quds Day” was well received by artists from different countries, and more than 200 cartoonists from 48 countries participated in the festival with 544 works. /345/
