Shiite, Sunni scholars should introduce moral virtues of Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) to society: Ayatollah Ramazani

The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “In Sufism, moral virtues are still observed, and Sufism must be present in society.”

On Friday, October 15, 2021, during his visit to Lebanon, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the accompanying delegation met with Sheikh Abdullah Jabri, the Secretary-General of the Al-Ummah Movement.

In the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah Jabri said, “We believe in Sufism, which means moderation, and appealing to the AhlulBayt (a.s.). Sufism reminds man of reliance on the family of the Prophet (p.b.u.h).”

“Our organization has extensive activities, and our goal is to support the Resistance until the liberation of Palestine,” added the son of Abdul Nasser al-Jabri, in describing the activities of the Al-Ummah Movement.

“We have numerous media, scientific and propagation activities. We also hold meetings, ceremonies, and educational and media courses, and we are eager to cooperate well in various fields with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, which has a special view on the followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) around the world, so that we would be the link between Shiites and Sunnis, based on the love of the AhlulBayt (a.s.),” he continued.

Following the meeting, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “In Sufism, moral virtues are still observed, and I agree with you that Sufism must be present in society.”

“In society, morality can attract people. If we, the Shiite, and Sunni scholars, properly introduce the moral virtues of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) and his valuable teachings to the society, we can have a heavenly society,” added Ayatollah Reza Ramazani.

Other programs of the visit of the Ayatollah Ramazani and the accompanying delegation were paying tribute to the tomb of the late Sheikh Abdul Nasser Al-Jabri and reciting the Surah Fateha and visiting different parts of the Harakat al-Ummah institution.
