If there were not Hazrat Abu Talib and his son Imam Ali (a.s.), the religion of Islam would not have continued. Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) defended the Prophet in Mecca until the end of his life and Imam Ali (a.s.) defended the Prophet in Medina until the end of Prophet’s life.

The member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Until the tenth year after the Be’that when Abu Talib (a.s.) was alive, the enmity of the Quraysh with the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) was not so much. But after his death, the enemies decided to kill the Prophet (p.b.u.h) and the story of Hijra (migration of the Holy Prophet from Mecca to Median) took place.

مجمع جهانی اهل‌بیت (ع)

مجمع جهانی اهل‎بیت(علیهم‎السلام)، به عنوان یک تشکل جهانی و غیردولتی، از طرف گروهی از نخبگان جهان اسلام تشکیل شده است. اهل‎بیت(علیهم‎السلام) به این دلیل بعنوان محور فعالیت انتخاب شده‎اند که در معارف اسلامی در کنار قرآن، محوری مقدس را که مورد پذیرش عامه مسلمین باشد، تشکیل می‎دهند.
