The Afghan member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Shiites are a minority in Afghanistan, and they constitute only about a quarter of the country’s population. Being a minority has caused various obstacles for the country’s Shiites, and the efforts to remove these obstacles have not been enough so far.”

The Iraqi member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Shiites have no presence in Samarra. The servants of the shrine of the two Askari Imams (a.s.) who brought their families to the city of Samarra live either in the area under the supervision of the shrine, or in the houses purchased by the shrine.”

The Iraqi members of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly gathered in Baghdad and discussed the latest developments regarding the followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school.

On Thursday, July 7, 2022, the commemoration ceremony of the late Koniko Yamamura (also known by her Persian name Saba Babaei), a Japanese member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the mother of the honorable martyr Mohammad Babaei, was held in Ansar Al-Hussein (a.s.) Mosque in Tehran. Mrs. Yamamura (Saba Babaei), who had been admitted to Khatam Al-Anbia (p.b.u.h) Hospital for some time due to a respiratory disease, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022, and joined her martyred son.

Ayatollah Reza Ramazani expressed his condolences on the demise of Mrs. Koniko Yamamura (Saba Babaei), a member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

Hojat al-Islam Mohsen Hassani Saadi was appointed as the inspector of the Seventh Session of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly by the Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the General Assembly.

The first joint meeting of the “Propagation, Media and Information Committee of the Seventh Session of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly” was held in Qom.

The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly appointed Dr. Abdul Reza Rashed as the Secretary of the Seventh Session of the General Assembly.
