ABWA Official Website – In the holy month of Ramadan, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of Iraq held 125 Quranic gatherings throughout Iraq, including 18 gatherings in Basra province, 10 gatherings in Dhi Qar province, 10 gatherings in Babylon province, 8 gatherings in Al-Muthana province, 7 gatherings in Wasit gatherings, 8 gatherings in Diwaniyah province, 10 gatherings in Maysan province, 9 gatherings in Najaf province, 8 gatherings in al-Rasafa district of Baghdad, 6 gatherings in al-Karkh district of Baghdad, 4 gatherings in Diyala province, 8 gatherings in Al-Mahmoudieh region, 15 gatherings in Karbala province, and 4 gatherings in Balad city. /345/

The director of the representative office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Iraq stated, “The AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of Iraq held 125 Quranic gatherings throughout Iraq in the holy month of Ramadan.”

Hojat al-Islam Mohammad Reza Al-e Ayub, the director of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly representative office in Iraq, met with a group of Iraqi missionaries.

ABWA Official Website – During his visit to Karbala, Iraq, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, met with Grand Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Taqi al-Modarresi. This meeting was also attended by Ayatollah Dorri-Najafabadi, Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and a group of managers of the Assembly, as well as a number of Iraqi Shiite figures. /345/

Grand Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Taqi al-Modarresi stated, “With the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, women got a special status to participate in social arenas. More attention should be paid to women’s society. Also, women’s seminaries should be strengthened.”

ABWA Official Website – The 192^nd session of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was held in Iraq. In this meeting, the deputies and senior managers of the Assembly presented a brief report of their activities. /345/

Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The AhlulBayt (a.s.) school is beneficial not only for Shiites and Muslims but also for all those who thirst for justice all over the world. Therefore, the late Imam Khomeini (r.a.) congratulated all the oppressed people of the world on the 15^th of Sha’ban [birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (a.s.)].”

Managers and representatives of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of Iraq met with the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
