Afghan immigrant religious figures, activists honored in Tehran + Images

On the sidelines of the conference “Ashura to Arbaeen; Messages and Results”, 50 religious activists from Afghan refugees were honored.

On Thursday, September 23, 2021, coincides with Safer 1, 1443 and as Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.) anniversary approaches, the conference “Ashura to Arbaeen; Messages and Consequences”, and also in its sideline, appreciation of the Haya’ats of Afghan immigrants in Tehran was held in compliance with health protocols in Cultural Revolution Complex (Sarcheshmeh), by the representative office of Tebyan Center for Social and Cultural Activities in Tehran, in cooperation with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the Islamic Development Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

At the end of the conference, 50 religious activists of Afghan immigrants from all over Tehran province, who observe health protocols, have good activities during Muharram and Safar this year, as well as various other activities throughout the year, were honored with commendation letter and the a flag blessed with the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (a.s.).

In the conference, Hojat al-Islam Mohammad Ali Salehi, Deputy Director General of Foreign Affairs and Immigrants of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, for his tireless efforts to facilitate religious ceremonies and the participation of immigrants in the great Arbaeen Hosseini March; Hojat al-Islam Ali Nateqi, head of the Ansar al-Mahdi Cleric Society, and cultural director of Ayatollah Fazeli Behsudi's office in Tehran, for his extensive religious activities and representation of the immigrant community; Haj Morteza Taheri, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Amin Nikokaran Institute, and Chairman of the Board of the House of Madehin (AhlulBayt Praisers) of the Islamic Republic of Iran for a lifetime efforts to disseminate the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school; and Mr. Ali Dashti, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Amin Charitable Foundation of Iran, for helping needy immigrants during Muharram in Tehran; were specially honored.
