AhlulBayt (a.s.), cause of Muslims’ unity: Ayatollah Ramazani

The Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The recommendation of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) to Muslims in the Hadith al-Thaqalayn was paying attention to and following the Quran, and following the AhlulBayt (a.s.), which is his most important recommendation.”

 

ABWA Official Website – The celebration of Eid al-Ghadir was held at the Culture House of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi, Pakistan, with the speech of Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

Underlining the duty of Islamic missionaries and ulama in propagating Islam, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “Addressing the missionaries, the late Ayatollah Bahjat (r.a.) said, “You preachers of religion (Islam) should try to introduce God to people.” In the present era, Nietzsche tried to erase God from people’s minds. This is while if God is not in human life, it will become meaningless.”

Addressing the missionaries, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “God has entrusted you with his greatest trust, His religion so that you learn and teach it correctly.”

Referring to the auspicious days of the Ten Days of Wilayah and the importance of the Hadith of al-Thaqalayn, he said, “The recommendation of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) to Muslims in the Hadith al-Thaqalayn was paying attention to and following the Quran, and following the AhlulBayt (a.s.), which is his most important recommendation. Therefore, the first article that the late Imam Khomeini (a.s.) mentioned in his will is the Hadith al-Thaqalayn.”

Further, recalling the oppression against AhlulBayt (a.s.), he added, “What caused the silent Quran to be speared 30 years after the demise of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), and the speaking Quran [Imam Husain (a.s.)] 50 years after the Prophet’s demise? All these problems were due to the Muslims not paying attention to the order of the Prophet (p.b.u.h). Imam Hussain (a.s.) was martyred so that society would not be confused and go astray. Imam Ali (a.s.) also complains about people who live in ignorance.”

“Ignorance is the greatest disease of mankind,” the seminary professor continued, “We have not resorted to AhlulBayt (a.s.) (properly), and we have not pondered the Quran (properly)! The Quran is the light, and in addition to reciting it, we should think about the verses of this divine book. Because the Quran calls us to ponder its verses, and then at the next level, measure our actions based on the criteria of the Quran. In this regard, mourning for Imam Hussain (a.s.), Muharram, and Ashura, which are coming soon, should make a person reform and be active in the society.”

“AhlulBayt (a.s.) are the cause of the unity of Muslims, and the right and truth are the Imams (a.s.) and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings. Therefore, we believe that Ali (a.s.) is right, and the right is with Ali (a.s.), and wherever Ali (a.s.) is, the right is there. The characteristics and virtues of Imam Ali (a.s.) should be heard from the AhlulBayt (a.s.), as Imam Hadi (a.s.) has stated 150 characteristics of Imam Ali (a.s.) in the Ziarat of Ghadiriya,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

Further, Ayatollah Ramazani about the burning of a copy of the Holy Quran in Sweden stated, “Why did the Swedish government issue permission to burn the Quran, which hurt the hearts of 4 billion followers of Islam and divine religions? Freedom of speech is just an excuse. They issued permission to burn the Quran because the Quran has a high position in the Muslim community. Muslims and Islamic governments will definitely take a position against this offensive action of the Swedish government.”

It is worth noting that this ceremony was held with the attendance of Hojat al-Islam Mursali, Mr. Noorian, Consul General of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi, Dr. Talebinia, Head of Culture House, Hojat al-Islam Shubair Hassan Maithami, Secretary General of the Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan, and about 200 dignitaries, ulama, missionaries and eulogists of AhlulBayt (a.s.).

At the beginning of the ceremony, after the recitation of the Quran, one of the eulogists of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) praised the virtues of Imam Ali (a.s.) on the occasion of Ghadir Eid.

Also, in a short speech, Hojat al-Islam Maithami expressed his appreciation to the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly for his visit to Pakistan.

Then, while welcoming Ayatollah Ramazani and his accompanying delegation, Mr. Talebinia introduced the activities of the Culture House of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi.
