Ayatollah Ramazani met Beirut’s Friday prayer Imam

In his visit to Lebanon, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly met with Hojat al-Islam Sayed Ali Fazlullah, the Friday Imam of Beirut, and the son of the late Allameh Sayed Mohammad Hussein Fazlullah.

In his visit to Lebanon, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly met with Hojat al-Islam Sayed Ali Fazlullah, the Friday Imam of Beirut,     and the son of the late Allameh Sayed Mohammad Hussein Fazlullah.

In this meeting, discussions were held about the situation of the Islamic world and the duties of Muslims in general, and the followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school in particular, especially in this difficult stage that the region and the Islamic world are going through.

In his turn, Ayatollah Ramazani briefed Sayed Ali Fazlullah on the preparations of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly for activities after the outbreak of Covid-19, as well as made suggestions regarding the General Assembly of the Assembly.

In a meeting with Sayed Ali Fazlullah, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stressed the need to pay attention to the suggestions of compassionate parties regarding the methods of action and ways of introducing Islam in a humane and moral way to the public.

In this meeting Fazlullah also said, “The Islam of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) should be presented to the people, through moral and human rules, and away from some distorted material, and with an emphasis on the culture of mercy and openness to all human beings.”

“Muslims and AhlulBayt (a.s.) Imams have a rich heritage in supplication, morality and love, which are also emphasized in the Holy Quran,” he mentioned.

Ahl Al-Bayt World Assembly

The Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly  is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) that was established by a group of Shiite elites under the supervision of the great Islamic authority of the Shiites in 1990 to identify, organize, educate and support the followers of Ahl al-Bayt.
