Measures taken by ABWA in holding “Lights of Guidance” exhibition pleasing: Baqeri

Hojat al-Islam Baqeri, in charge of the booth of the “Al-Zuriyah Al-Nabawiah Research Institute” stated, “Holding the Lights of Guidance exhibition by AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is an appropriate action and an interesting cultural work, and it can be organized better in the future.”

ABWA Official Website – On the sidelines of the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition, ABNA reporter interviewed Hojat al-Islam Baqeri, in charge of the booth of the “Al-Zuriyah Al-Nabawiah Research Institute”.

Regarding the history of “Al-Zuriyah Al-Nabawiah Research Institute” he said, “This institute was established in 2015 under the auspices of the Supreme Leader. Ayatollah Sayed Monzer Hakim is the president of the institute, and researchers are conducting research on the genealogy of sayyids.”

On the scope of activity of “Al-Zuriyah Al-Nabawiah Research Institute”, Hojat al-Islam Baqeri expressed, “In the institute, we are looking to identify sayyids and how many of them are in Iran and non-Iranian countries. After the number of sayyids is determined, we extract their family tree, and therefore we determine that of which Imams (a.s.) they belong to and are descendants of. In this way, we extract the family tree of each sayyid. In some cities, there are duplicate Imamzadehs. The research institute investigates which Imamzadeh has authenticity and family tree.”

“Our institution has publications on the complete family tree of the sayyids, some of which we have presented in the booth,” about the works of Al-Zuriyah Al-Nabawiah Research Institute he said, “Also, we conduct research on some old books, extract hadiths, Quranic verses and ulama’s sayings, add index to the book and reconstruct it. According to the recent approval of the Management Council of Qom Seminary, the Research Institute accept and trains researchers.”

“Holding the Lights of Guidance exhibition by AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is an appropriate action and an interesting cultural work, and it can be organized better in the future. Officials should consider a bigger venue for the exhibition. Because there are many cultural institutions active in the international arena, and some of these institutions did not participate in the exhibition due to limited space,” he commented in the end regarding the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition.

It should be mentioned that on the establishment anniversary of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the exhibition of the achievements of institutions and organizations active in the international propagation of Islam, entitled “Lights of Guidance” is being held from Saturday, December 31, 2022, until January Thursday 5, 2023, in the conference hall of the Islamic Propagation Office of the Seminary.     

It is also worth noting that the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was established on December 31, 1990, with the aim of gathering Shiites, establishing relationships within the Shiite world, promoting Shiites seminaries, solving the problems of Shiites with other Islamic Denominations, and benefiting from real and legal capabilities of Shiites.

The Assembly was established by the order of Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, on December 25, 1990, with the aim of introducing the revolutionary foundations, and thought of the Islamic system of Iran to Shiites all over the world. /345/
