Quran, red line of all Muslims: Ayatollah Ramazani

Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The Quran is the red line of all Muslims, and we Muslims do not allow the desecration of it.”

ABWA Official Website – On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), the conference “The United Ummah” with the theme of “Unity and Solidarity from the Perspective of the Quran” was held in the conference hall of the representative office of Al-Mustafa (p.b.u.h) International University in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The conference was held with the presence of the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tanzania, the cultural attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tanzania, the head of Iran’s I’tikaf headquarters, the representative of Al-Mustafa (p.b.u.h) International University in Tanzania, the head of the Center of Religions and Denominations of Tanzania, the head of Friday and congregational imams, Sunni and Shiites ulama, and professors and clergy of seminaries.

Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, as a special guest of the conference, spoke about the status of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) and his practical tradition.

Referring to the characteristics of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), Ayatollah Ramazani said, “The Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) was the Prophet of mercy, and we should introduce Islam to the world with the view that Islam is a religion of mercy and rationality. The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said: “God sent me to be tolerant with people.” Islam is not a religion of war, but a religion of peace. But a peace that is just. Just peace means that all human beings should enjoy all divine blessings.”

“A Muslim is a person of peace and reconciliation,” he continued, “But he does not reconcile with oppression and submission to oppression. No Islamic nation and no Islamic state should become a slave or servant of the domination world and system. Insulting the Holy Quran is not only an insult to Muslims but an insult to the entire humanity. The Holy Quran is the red line of all Muslims, and we Muslims do not allow the desecration of it.”

“If the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) was alive today, he would once again stress that Muslims should emphasize Islamic Sharia. Not only prayer and congregational prayer, but Sharia includes all the social rules of Islam, such as Hajj, enjoining good and forbidding evil, and Jihad. Our behavior should be similar to that of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), and we need to grow in terms of morality and spirituality,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“According to the Quranic verses, discord is a tyrannical and pharaonic policy. Discord causes the failure and helplessness of Muslims. To prevent this from happening, we must hold on to the divine rope, which is the divine straight path. Discords and divisions lead to weakness and vulnerability, but on the contrary, unity and solidarity lead to strength and deterrence,” Ayatollah Ramadani emphasized.

“The enemies of Islam have been using the “divide and rule” policy for a long time to create a split in the ranks of the united Islamic Ummah. To deal with such a policy, we must use the unifying guidelines of the Holy Quran and implement them in practical form in Islamic society. In the Holy Quran, unity and solidarity have always been mentioned among the basic factors to confront the Kufr front,” he mentioned.

Hymns, Tawashih, music videos, and speeches were among the programs of this conference, which was held to spread the idea of proximity (of Islamic schools of thought and denominations) between intellectuals and scholars and convey it to the Muslim masses.
