The book “Ma’arif Islami” (Islamic Thought) in English published in India by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

The book which is written by Messrs. Mohammad Saidi Mehr, Amir Divani, Mohsen Javadi, and Alireza Amini, is a textbook of Twelver Shiite beliefs in various areas of Islamic Principles (Osoul Din).

In the introduction, the authors of the book explained the role of religion in solving the intellectual crises faced by humans in the present era.

Then, they have analyzed the ways of finding God and Ma’refa of God and different fields of anthropology and cosmology, as well as the truth of man and death from the perspective of the Quran, different philosophical approaches regarding the immortality of man and the specifications of the afterlife in the Quran.

In the next step, Shite beliefs in various fields of Nabowat (Prophethood), Imamate and examination of the jurisdiction of Islamic ulama have been explored. One of the features of this part of the book is the detailed explanation of the absolute authority of the Velayat-e Faqih and its relationship with the law and republic system and its position in the Iran’s constitution.

Commissioned by the Translation Office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the book “Ma’arif Islami” (Islamic Thought) was translated by Mr. Abuzar Ahmadi into English, and the Publication House of the Assembly in collaboration with Velayat Publications have published 1000 copies of it in India in two volumes and 542 pages. /345/
