The Head of AhlulBayt (a.s.) Ulama Organization of Iğdır, Turkey, stated, “According to a hadith, God says: “The Wilayat of Imam Ali (a.s.) is My fortified fortress, and whoever enters this fortress will be safe from punishment”.”

Friday prayer leader and Imam of the Haj Yousef and Haji Hajar Mosque in the city of Iğdır, Turkey stated, “Eid Ghadir Khumm is of great importance and is considered the biggest Eid among Islamic Eids.”

Regarding the role of Shiites in political and social affairs, the expert on Turkish issues stated, “There are no restrictions on the Shiites from the Turkish government, and they are active. But they neither have much contact with the outside their circle nor are they very active in social affairs. Shiites in Turkey do not have a political party, and they keep themselves on the margins of society, in other words, they are cautious.”

A large number of Turkish and Syrian people died in different cities of these two countries due to the earthquake.

On the occasion of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), a ceremony was held in Istanbul, Turkey, attending by the enthusiasts of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and his loyal companions. In the ceremony Hojat al-Islam Sheikh Qadir Akaras, the head of the Union of Turkish Ulama (Ehlader) delivered a speech.
