The sanctity of performance is one of the characteristics of the ABNA
A member of the policy council of AhlulBayt (a.s.) News Agency – ABNA, stated, “This news agency is one of the few media and information outlets regarding the dissemination of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings and publishing news of the activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) followers all over the world, and the sanctity of the name and status of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) extends to the performance of each news agency member.”
ABWA Official Website – On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, the annual meeting of the colleagues of ABNA International News Agency and the unveiling ceremony of the “Hadith-graph of Faithful Life” in Swahili, was held in the meeting hall of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom.
In this ceremony, attended by ABNA colleagues from different cities and countries, and media and cultural figures, Muhammad Mahdi Shariatmadar, a member of the policy council of AhlulBayt (a.s.) News Agency gave a speech.
Expressing the characteristics and performance of the news agency, Shariatmadar said, “AhlulBayt (a.s.) International News Agency – ABNA is one of the most important specialized news agencies in Iran, and one of its characteristics is the sanctity of its performance. The mission of this news agency is to disseminate the AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings and publish news about the activities of AhlulBayt (a.s.) followers worldwide. Certainly, the sanctity of the name and status of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) extends to the performance of each news agency member. ABNA is the voice of those Shiites around the world who do not have access to information and media tools for many reasons.”
“During the new management period of the ABNA, a serious change occurred in the news agency,” he added, “Of course, this does not mean negating the predecessors’ efforts. ABNA has a variety of languages and audiences, and the news agency should be the voice of the voiceless Shiites who don’t have any media outlets. This is important to consider because today Shiite and Shiism are not just a jurisprudential and historical religion. Rather, it is a phenomenon that plays a significant role in regional developments and historical events.”
Regarding ABNA’s approach, the former adviser of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Lebanon and the Director General of the Arab African countries of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, stated, “In addition to paying attention to Shiism and Shiites, paying attention to Islamic unity, resistance, and defending justice-seeking issues, such as Palestine, are among other approaches of the news agency that can promote ABNA News Agency, which has a special function.”
