In the meeting which was on Thursday morning, December 13, 2018, Hojat al-Islam Akhtari, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly of, and Hojat al-Islam Mohammad Mehdi Sabahi Kashani, presented a report on the objectives and call of the conference.

In a meeting with a group of managers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and the organizers of the International Conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.), while warning about some propaganda and seemingly religious activities against Shiite beliefs, Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani said, “He was very influential in supporting Islam and the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), and his faith, spirituality, and culture were also excellent. But unfortunately, some people incorrectly introduce another character of Hazrat Abu Talib.”
