The news of the demise of Mujahid and servicing Alem, Ayatollah Sayed Azizullah Omrani Mortazavi, one of the Shiite Source of Emulation, caused regret and sorrow.

In addition to studying and teaching Islamic sciences and knowledge, this educated Alem was also significant and effective in terms of practical ethics and good public relations.

Ayatollah Mortazavi spent his blessed life in jihad and brave struggle against the enemies of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and Afghanistan, spreading the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.), and serving the honorable people of Afghanistan. He had a brilliant record in political struggles.

I offer my condolences on the demise of this late Alem to Imam Mahdi (a.s.), the Islamic seminaries, the people, and especially the Shiites of Afghanistan, and his family, especially his honorable brother Hojat al-Islam Mr. Mortazavi, and I ask God Almighty to raise his divine rank.
