Activities of the Headquarters for the Development and Reconstruction of Holy Shrines are impressive: Ayatollah Ramazani
A group of members of the Headquarters for the Development and Reconstruction of Holy Shrines, Qom Branch, met with Ayatollah Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
ABWA Official Website – On Saturday, June 29, 2024, a group of members of the Headquarters for the Development and Reconstruction of Holy Shrines, Qom Branch, attended the Qom office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Qom, and met with Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the Assembly.
In this meeting, while commemorating the memory and efforts of Martyr General Soleimani in the formation of the Headquarters for the Development and Reconstruction of Holy Shrines, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “General Soleimani was present in various arenas and was a phenomenon in all fields.
Regarding the role of Iranians in promoting science and providing services, he said, “According to the hadith “لو كانَ العِلمُ بالثُّريّا لَتَناوَلَهُ رِجالٌ مِن فارِسَ” (If the knowledge is in Pleione, surely men from Iran will achieve it) from the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), Iranians have been always effective in all fields and also in the restoration of Holy Shrines.”
“During my visit to Iraq before the fall of Saddam, I saw the condition of the shrines of Imams (a.s.) and thought to myself, when will these places be settled? But today, seeing the construction and development of the courtyards in the shrines, I thank God. For example, in the courtyard of Lady Zahra (a.s.) (in the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali), the beauty of Islamic and Iranian art has been used, and every pilgrim who sees this courtyard will enjoy it,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“Working in the Headquarters for the Development and Reconstruction of Holy Shrines is an honor and a great capacity for servicing religion and people,” he said, ‘We appreciate the efforts and activities of the Headquarters for Development and Reconstruction of the Holy Shrines of Qom province. The name of Qom is connected with uprising, jihad, war, and religious and charitable activities.”
Further in his speech, explaining the activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.)World Assembly, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly oversees the affairs of the Shiites of the world and has relations with more than 120 countries. We are also in contact with local Assemblies and missionaries who disseminate the AhlulBayt (a.s.) culture in the world. ABNA News Agency is the voice of voiceless Shiites which operates in 27 languages and has attained significant achievements. WikiShia virtual encyclopedia with 22 languages has a million daily visitors. Thaqalayn Satellite TV operates in Arabic, and AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University has scientific and research activities with students from 31 countries.”
Regarding the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the Secretary General of the Assembly expressed, “The members of the Supreme Council of the Assembly are from Shiites leaders and elders from different countries.”
In another part of his speech, referring to the importance of the Resistance Axis in the region, he stated, “Today, the geography of Resistance has expanded. The Resistance which started from Iran and then reached Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, and Latin American countries, now has reached American and European universities and institutions. In this regard, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution’s letter to the students supporting the Palestinian people in America is a sign of hope for a bright future and the familiarity of the young generation of the West with the Resistance discourse and culture. Before “Operation True Promise”, Iran was a regional power, but today we have become a global power. The Resistance Axis has never been as strong as today.”
On the necessity of cooperation between the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the Headquarters for the Development and Reconstruction of Holy Shrines, Qom Province, he said, “Regarding cooperation, meetings should be held with Hojat al-Islam Abdallah Tawana, the advisor to the Secretary General of the Assembly on Seminary and Clergy affairs, and the Department for International Affairs of the assembly, to review and evaluate the fields of cooperation between the two organizations in different sectors; because disseminating the AhlulBayt (a.s.) School is a duty and a principle for the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.”
At the end of his speech, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The staff of the Headquarters for Development and Reconstruction of Holly Shrines across the country are hardworking and sincere people, and God has given them the success to serve the Holy Shrines of AhlulBayt (a.s.) and their pilgrims.”
It is worth mentioning that at the beginning of this meeting, two officials of the Headquarters for the Development and Reconstruction of Holy Shrines, Qom branch, gave Ayatollah Ramadani a report on the actions of this organization.
