ABWA Official Website – On Thursday, August 17, 2023, the pre-conference session of the Nahj al-Balagha International Conference was held in the conference hall of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom, with the presence of the academic and executive board of the conference, and the officials of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
At the beginning of this session, Hojat al Islam, Dr. Mahdi Farmanian, Deputy for Scientific and Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly explained the scientific and cultural activities of the assembly.
Further in the session, Hojat al-Islam Ahmad Salek Kashani, the chairman of the board of directors of Nahj al-Balagha Institute of Isfahan province, stated, “To promote Nahj al-Balagha teachings, we have held several internal conferences, and we are seeking to recognize the capacities of this topic worldwide.”
“Also, we have held classes and training courses. For example, we are looking for implementing the “Shahid Rajaee” course with focusing on Nahj al-Balagha,” he added.
“We are doing our best to spread the message of Imam Ali (a.s.) and Nahj al-Balagha in Iran and abroad,” he emphasized, “To achieve this goal, various working groups have been established.”
“Identifying and using the capacity of Shiites at the world level and systematic international communication with Shiites in holding the International Conference of Nahj al-Balagha, are among our goals in holding the current session with the officials of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly. The Assembly can help us in the fields of education, research, and training of international instructors,” he stated.
Then, some officials of the Assembly, including the head of WikiShia Virtual Encyclopedia and the head of the Regional Studies Department of the Assembly, expressed their opinions.
Also, the participants exchanged opinions about the methods of cooperation and synergy of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in holding the International Conference of Nahj al-Balagha.
